Attorney Earl Louie M. Masacayan, a Junior Partner of the firm, is the Associate Dean of the Philippine Law School. He is also an author of three books collectively called as the "Masacayan Business Law Trilogy" which includes Labor, Taxation, and Commercial Laws all published by CentralBooks. He is also an MCLE lecturer, Bar Reviewer, and Professor in law schools and business schools from undergraduate to PhD level. His teaching and lecturing stints includes Philippine Law School, Philippine Christian University - College of Law, Villasis Law Center Bar Review, ACCESS Online MCLE, Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila - School of Business Education, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila - College of Business Administration, Asia Pacific College - School of Management, Rizal College of Laguna - College of Management and Accountancy, De La Salle Lipa College of Law, PhilRegis, and Adamson University - Social Sciences Department.
Associate Dean Masacayan is a seasoned lawyer who worked for the government which includes Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB), law firms, and private companies; and managed various departments such as legal, compliance, human resources, and procurement. He has also experience in practicing various facets of law such as litigation, labor, banking & finance, data privacy, public procurement, corporate housekeeping & compliance, and maritime crew claims. He is currently a Vice President of the Maritime Law Association of the Philippines (MARLAW).
He got his AB, Major in Political Science degree at De La Salle University - Manila. He continued studying at the University of Santo Tomas – Manila where he got his Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Thereafter, he pursued graduate studies at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila where he obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degrees. He also finished his Human Resources Manager Development Program from Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He is also a Certified Practitioner in Human Resources (CPHR®) conferred by the International HR Institute (IHRI).
In 2024, he was awarded as one of the Most Outstanding Alumni of the University of Santo Tomas - Faculty of Civil Law.
He is a member of the firm's litigation team and he also handles various facets of business laws such as labor, human resources, banking & finance, data privacy, public procurement, corporate housekeeping, and compliance.
